A PERSONAL WELCOME

From my high school years on I have felt a strong desire to share the good news of Jesus – to be an evangelist “making friends for God.” After seminary I was ordained as a Presbyterian evangelist, and for the next thirty years was privileged to bring this good news in some forty countries, both in my own evangelism initiatives and as an associate with my brother-in-law Billy Graham. Then in my early fifties I felt another equally strong call to help identify, develop, and network younger leaders of a new generation. This grew in part out of the death of our son Sandy during heart surgery, and the desire to help other young leaders to run their race for Christ. My vision was confirmed during a prayer meeting in Oslo when a younger man quoted Isaiah 43:18-19, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing… do you not perceive it?”

My mission statement now is to be an “artist of the soul, and a friend on the journey” and so I welcome you to this website, praying it will help you to discover more fully your own “voice” inviting others to follow Christ.
